The Early Bird Tournament schedule has been released

Good morning everyone!

Late last night Hockey PEI released the league schedule, and it's now available on our website at https://summersideminorhockey.ca/l/721/U15-AA-Male/teams/schedule/5138/summerside-capitals/

Our first regular season game will be next Wednesday, Oct 30, 7:30 pm vs Pownal Team 1 in Pownal.

We plan to have a parents meeting soon. I'll coordinate with the coaches and get back to everyone on that ASAP.

The jersey numbers are now finalized and have been submitted to Hockey Canada and Hockey PEI. Thank you to everyone who responded to the poll! I did my best to fairly assign the numbers based on the poll results. The unfortunate reality is that we had a limited amount of numbers and not everyone got what they wanted. For example, 5 players all wanted #19 as their first choice. In several instances I resorted to drawing names out of a hat. Now that the numbers are chosen though they cannot be changed. We are looking for a volunteer for the team's Safety Trainer. If this is something you're interested in, please let me know ASAP. 

Jerseys & socks: I have picked up our blue set from SAMHA and will be distributing them at our game on Wednesday. The grey set will be sent out for name bars. When they're ready we'll be trading the blue set for the grey, and the blue set will be sent out for name bars. It's a bit of a mess, but we'll get it sorted.

Hello everyone!

I'm Shawn, and I have volunteered to be manager of the U15AA team this season. Many of you know me, but some may not. I'll get into formalities later, but for now I want to give you a heads-up of our next practice, which will be tomorrow (Friday) at 8:40pm in the CUP Arena. We are also finalizing the details on an exhibition game in Pownal for Wednesday, Oct 23. I will ask that if you are unable to attend a game or practice that you please let me know in advance by text or email.
